Hello, I'm Huy.
iF Gold and Red Dot award-winning Senior Product Designer, most recently at IBM where I shipped Watsonx.Governance, the AI governance platform 500+ enterprise clients use to keep models compliant under the EU AI Act. The last two years, I stopped handling designs over the wall and started shipping them: three production AI apps, a custom Claude agent orchestration layer, Karpathy-style experimentation loops across three projects.

I've spent 16 years designing complex enterprise systems, AI governance, data warehouses, GRC platforms at IBM and before that ReferralExchange.
Architecture and computer science background. I learned SQL to design Db2. I shadowed DBAs. I read 1,000+ support tickets before drawing a single screen. The systems I work on aren't legible without that effort, and the work isn't trustworthy without it either.
The last two years, I shifted. I stopped handing designs over the wall and started shipping them. Three production AI apps live on the internet. A custom Claude agent orchestration layer running my own knowledge system. Karpathy-style autonomous experimentation loops across three projects.
The handoff gap doesn't exist when one person owns both.
When I'm not at the keyboard: I'm in the kitchen, on a trail, or arguing about how to make complex things feel simple.
